Get ready for coffee culture in its most entertaining form

A two-day, head-to-head competition featuring 16 competitors per category, in a single-elimination bracket format.

You’re paired against one opponent. You pour at the same time, in maximum 3 minutes. Judges point.
Win your battle and you move forward.

2 Days. 2 competitions. 4 rounds each: round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, finals.
Patterns are announced the day of the competition, for each round. The battle order will be determined by a random draw.

The level of difficulty differs for:
Community Throwdown on March 21
Industry Throwdown on March 22 

Coffee will be provided by us.
Milk is supplied by Napolact.
The bars are equipped with 2 Victoria Arduino Prima espresso machines with 1 group and 2 Mythos MyONE grinders.

Who can join
Home baristas and coffee enthusiasts who do not work in the coffee industry. If you earn income from coffee-related work, you can join the Industry competition on March 22.

Industry Throwdown

Who can join
Active coffee industry professionals, including baristas, trainers, coffee shop owners and competitors. This competition follows the same single-elimination, head-to-head format but may introduce theme pours in the semifinals and finals.
